Added 2023-07-16 10:32:30 +0000 UTCJust got home after a very successful 14 hour shift. I can’t even begin to describe how busy my day was. It was beautiful though. Nothing but good vibes and fun times. Sometimes I can’t even believe the life I live (as a dancer, I mean). It really is crazy though. I just “encounter” (OF doesn’t like the “m” word) people all day long and do my best to entertain everyone and make sure everybody is having a good time. My stage sets during the end of the night were just a massive crowd of people giving me money. As I dance, I can feel the energy of the crowd and it guides me to know what to do next. I almost feel like a witness to what I end up doing. As if I’m on auto-pilot or something. Every person there plays a role in how my performance unfolds. I try my best to acknowledge every person that comes up to tip me. It really is a special thing. It’s very intimate and raw and full of spectators at the same time. There’s really nothing else like it that I can think of. And I do my best to behave in such a way that everybody will be left feeling like they saw something special. Or at least that’s always what I strive for. But yeah, it was a good day. I’m gonna do my best to get some sleep. Tomorrow it all starts over again. It’s Pride Sunday with the parade and everything. Should be another big day. Wish me luck. I’m gonna need it.
