How to have practical control over your mood while facing tr..

How to have practical control over your mood while facing trolls online: Theory: 1. Online anti-social behaviors are mostly much different from the real-life ones. Online social activities are usually related to a lower level of intelligence and social inability. Study shows that people who tend to be trolls and haters online on average perform 36.78% worse on a standard IQ test than normal people. 2. Online anti-social behaviors are related to the trolls' unhappy real life. They enjoy the feeling of being superior to the people that they attack which their real life failed to offer. So theoretically speaking, the more unconfident, insecure a person feels in his life, the more likely he will choose to be a hater; the more he considers himself a failure consciously or unconsciously, the more he'd spread the hate. 3. As you can see from point 2, through trolling, trolls are actually turning their deep hatred and disgust to themselves onto the outer world. So basically they don't care who they troll to, the victims can just be randomly picked. 4. A troll is usually a deeply hidden eager for attention. And as you can see the behavior is similar to what a k i d/teenager would do in order to get attention from his care keepers. Saying exaggerated words to start a fight in order to draw attention to themselves, usually this need deep inside of a hater's subconsciousness is not realized by himself, and would tend to not be admitted once pointed out. 5. Unfortunately, haters will actually never get what they want through hating. They might feel satisfied after "winning" a battle, but since spreading negativity, turning self-disgust and hatred to the outer world will not only reduce it but will reinforce itself and in the end causing a vicious circle that might end up causing more serious mental problems. 6. Study shows that men tend to troll more than women. In an experiment trying to find out the connection between trolling and gender, researchers found that men were 43.7%more likely to troll compared to women. (So next time you deal with a troll, you can try to ask for his gender to check, for me personally I've only got male trolls which was to my surprise :) I read these points in a series of psychology related articles. Practice: So how do we deal with trolls: 1. Trolls mostly are a representation of deeply hidden self-disgust and self-hatred. Therefore instead of feeling irritated we should try to lay our mercy on their miserable being. 2. Trolls can be a result of lower intelligence level than normality. I think I don't need to explain this point. May God bless them. 3. When they shout at you that you are an attention seeker it might actually be that they themselves are attention seekers, but don't argue with them since they will never admit it. Therefore try not to argue with any trolls if you don't want to encourage them to continue to do so. 4. When trolling, a hater will never show his vulnerable side to avoid getting attacked so don't expect them to admit that they are weak or wrong. It's impossible. But this way you can see that the more they are trying to hide or refuse these two points the more they feel insecure about themselves. So let's just lay our pity on their hurt little hearts. 5. When you "lose" the battle you might feel upset about letting them win. But as mentioned they will never get what they deeply need trough doing things in a negative way. So they will never win, unless they stop trolling. 6. May God bless their miserable life. As you can see, a person living a happy life won't have the reasons to spread hatred. So the more trolling he is the more miserable a hater's life can be. P. S. Some people believe that we should treat the haters better, we should try to heal them since they're simply breaking down. That's right, we shouldn't try to hurt them back once we get hurt. But what I want to emphasize is that trolling, hurting another person in order to vent one's own problems should not be tolerated under any circumstances. He/she can have perfect reasons to troll, and we would perfectly understand his/her reasons, but their behaviors should not be tolerated and they should take responsibility for them, no matter what. Imagine what if they randomly threw hate to a victim who was just suffering from depression? What serious consequences can this act lead to? Thank you for reading, hopes this article helped you.
