Unexpected bills + having to take some time away from work to look after my mental health has left my funds incredibly low for the last few weeks, and the money I make from here has only just been covering my share of rent/bills/food with very minimal money left for everything else life entails. And then I got home to news today that my partners been fired effective immediately, and his last paycheck will only be a few hundred dollars 🥲 I'm incredibly stressed and have been in tears most of the afternoon because now the burden of supporting my little family has been left entirely up to me until he finds employment. I only get paid fortnightly from my job and given I've hardly worked recently, I have very little coming in. My rent is due soon and I honestly don't know that I'll have enough to cover that, let alone bills and all the rest of it. I feel physically sick at the idea of losing everything I've worked so hard to build in the last year just because of a few bad weeks.
