Yesterday conquered Transfăgărășan. Is mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It has national-road ranking and is the second-highest paved road in the country after the Transalpina. A beautiful track 90 km long, amazing views 😍 The height of the mountains around reaches 2400-2500 meters, the maximum height of the road is 2045m near Balea Lake. From our place it was was 30 km to the lake and the tunnel. The road was constantly going up🤪 At the beginning of the journey we met a bear with a baby :) And when we went down saw them too, local people try to feed them) I liked the tour very much. 110 km we done during Monday and Tuesday. The last time I rode a bike was when Kharkiv was bombed and I was delivering humanitarian aid... I hope soon I will ride again in my native Ukrainian forests♥️
