Standing on the shore in China, somewhere between the sound of the waves and the cries of the seagulls, I suddenly felt so small.... and yet part of something great. The wind blew in my face, salty and fresh, tangling in my hair as if playing with me. I took off my shoes and stepped gingerly into the water. 👩🪁Warm and supple, it enveloped my feet, and the sand beneath them seemed to take on a life of its own, slipping away with each step.
