Lock wouldn't lock from either side of the door. Found Stanley type sliding glass doors. These have a top rod and bolt the frequently slip the bolt guide and this causes a jam. Sometimes you can remove the top guide and adjust the bolt that's on the threaded stock, but sometimes it's so severe you pull the lock from the door and straighten everything out by hand. This one, the threaded rod was crooked as a dog's hind leg and the apparatus between the rod and the mortise body was badly bent. Pulled it from the top of the door and got it straightened out and replaced. All adjusted and works like new. Whomever was in this last, lost an allen head screw for the top guide and stuck a self tapper in there. Although it wouldn't surprise me if the original installer did it. It looked like it had been there for a while and this store isn't that old. After getting it fixed and function checked (25 times, minimum) I powered up the door to watch it cycle a few times. Of course this is when every grandmother and soccer mom in town want to go in or out. Took me 5 minutes waiting for it to cycle the first time hahaha #EasyMoney #AlwaysFun
