Added 2023-02-11 21:54:30 +0000 UTCClose up look at the micro switch on a Detex 230. Customer complaint was alarm activated and staying on when locking bolt with key. During the initial function check, the customer was 100% correct. I found it was missing one of the rim cylinder mounting screws and the other was so loose the cylinder was about to fall out. Replaced missing screw and tightened both. Also all the bolt slide and moving parts were dry as a bone and the friction was fouling up smooth operation. The micro switch was dirty as hell too. Flushed it good with Houdini (safe for electronics). New Duracell 9v and 50 function checks. Works great, like new now.
