It involves one or more people adopting the personality, traits and behaviours of an animal & is a headspace that subs, doms & switches alike can enjoy (For example: A submissive in puppyspace could present as a show of submissoon & a dominant in puppyspace could hold their submissive down with a bite to the neck) Finding your animal headspace is amazingly fun but of you're struggling to choose, try examining what traits describe you best. If you are loyal and playful perhaps you identify as a puppy, if you enjoy being led around and high protocol training perhaps you would like to be a pony! Another common way to find your petplay person is to be gifted it by another during play. Maybe my Owner prefers a little kitty to curl in their lap & will, in D/s scenes, mold me into the perfect naughty kitty. Maybe we might want to roleplay where my Owner is a farmer who enjoys breastfeeding and would like me to be a cow! 🐮 You don't have to be in a dynamic to enjoy petplay and you can always switch between animals! You also don't have to identify with one particular animal and can identify as an aninal that doesn't exist. Your only limit is your own imagination.
