Added 2023-01-30 06:44:35 +0000 UTC💙OVER THE VALLEY💙 This was in the early morning just to the east of Himeville. It was still a bit foggy when we started taking photos, but it soon cleared up. We stayed at a working cow farm near Himeville and were on our way to a camping site at the Midmar dam. Of course, when we arrived at the camping site, we couldn’t get into the camping site. Everything was locked, nobody answered the phone when we called! We must start travelling with bolt cutters! Being late in the afternoon, we were in trouble again. We started driving towards the town of Howick and I started looking for a place to stay. Numerous phone calls later, numerous rejections (or too expensive!) later, we found a camps site. We arrived just before sunset and we actually had a great time. ps. The whole day was cold, cloudy and misty. We stopped at a pub and we had a nice warm cup of hot chocolate. “What!!”, I hear all of you scream, “Hot chocolate and not a beer!” 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, it was too cold for a beer!
