I’ve literally just landed at the airport, will likely be spending a couple days at the hospital - my partner’s father’s health has deteriorated quite drastically after we thought he was starting to do better. They found he also has a form of bloood cancer (terminal) on top of a very rare heart condition (Amyloidosis). They told us he needs to start an aggressive form of chemotherapy from Thursday. There’s a chance it will help prolong his life a little, but there’s also a chance it will cut it very short as his heart may not cope with it. Hence coming home to see him before treatment begins. I honestly cannot believe this is happening.
