Added 2018-07-21 15:16:05 +0000 UTCAn unplanned camping trip! I needed the outdoors and I’ve been waiting for months for the state park near me to have a cancellation and they did! So of course I booked it right away and of course I didn’t look at the weather forecast! Oops 😏 I set up camp, got a fire going, made dinner, roasted s’mores, and it started to sprinkle. Then it started to pour. I have a fairly decent waterproof tent but it stormed like crazy and the winds were awfully strong! And because I hit the tent so quickly when it started to pour I left all my food outside- taco dip, s’mores, homemade granola bars. Everything was secured in a cooler but littler fucker racoons still got into them! So by morning all food was gone and such a mess! 🙄 Camping and being outside still gives me such a wonderful sensation, I love being outdoors. It’s so relaxing and a stress reliever. The smell of rain, the noise of the rain pattering on the tent, the smell of fire, the cool air breeze, ahhhh 👌 It still turned out to be lovely 🏕
