Recently I was scammed by a fake fin sub. He faked purchasing me a new camera and lens from my amazon wishlist. I knew he was scamming me from the start. I went along with it to see how far this charade would go, with a sliver of hope it would be real. He pretended to buy me all kinds of stuff. Diamond necklaces, new laptops, camera lenses. You name it. It added up to $25,000. It made me realize that even if I had all of that stuff fall into my lap, I wouldn't have enjoyed it. I got bored looking at expensive things because its unrewarding. I get bored the same way when I play sims and use the money cheat. Sure you got everything you wanted, but does it even feel good? I'm the kind of person who works hard for what they want. While yes it would've been awesome to have gotten the latest Canon, I'm excited to work towards purchasing it myself. It's good to have things that are out of reach so you have something to work towards. It feels so much better in the end when you obtain your goal!
