Coming from Missouri, this is a pretty common occurrence for me. One of my favorite memories is having wood heat, and when it got really really cool, we would make a pallet in the kitchen by the wood stove to stay warm. Some of my favorite memories of winter waking up with the smell of burning wood beside me, drinking the most delicious and homemade hot cocoa, and running barefoot in the snow just to see if I could. Yesterday when I was gathering the wood, I pretended I was Laura Ingles Wilder. Let's see what naughtiness we can figure out. If our electrical grid holds out, that is. More nylon teasing all day. P.
