A weekend of ups and downs at Croft for Team Valkyrie! Saturdays race finished under a red flag so we started p28 for today's outing. We switched up the driver order for today, Magdalena kicked things off, ensuring a great clean start for the team and getting our race off to a good start. Amy was out next, getting involved in some great battles throughout her stint after a safety car. It was Shannon's turn to bring the car home today, but unfortunately an issue with the master switch meant that the car cut out, causing the Marshalls to have to push the car into the pits for an unscheduled pit stop under the safety car (which means a 6 minute stop 😭). The issue then recurred during the rest of her stint. Shannon did a great job to bring the car home in p29, only 1 place down from where we started 👏🏻
Overall a weekend full of learning, gaining experience and improving for us, with each driver improving on their test times considerably and getting more and more confident battling out on track.
