I strongly advice you to stay on the northern part of the island - it's way less crowded and you can find beautiful hidden lagoons with pure aquamarine water like in the Caribbeans. Just ask the receptionist at your hotel or the owner of your air-bnb for directions 💞 I promise, you will not get disappointed! Although if you are a party person & looking for crazy night life scene I wouldn't recommend it. In that case your destination is Ibiza!
