You didn't think I forgot to take sweaty post-workout pics today, did you? ;)
I'm over a month into my training now, and I've been reflecting on how much I enjoy fitness, sports, & just being active every day. But over the past years, it's been hard to find a way to incorporate that into my life because of disability, chronic pain, mental illness, and all the normal life shit 😆 It can be especially hard to find an exercise approach that works for you, especially one that encourages self-love instead of self-hate, but some of the best advice I've heard is: *love forces us to see **what is**, and still love it anyway*. To love your body means to accept its imperfect reality (a squidgy meat bag that is in constant change and motion). It also means wanting to invest in it, challenge it, nurture it. This is the key, for me. 💖 Part of what I love about having this platform is that I can share some of that enthusiasm and love for the human body!! So thank you, especially if you read this entire ramble hehe ILY ok byee 🥰
