Added 2021-09-09 01:04:09 +0000 UTCToday I stopped by the plant nursery I have been working at part time since Covid. The place looked good and didn't suffer any major damage from the storm. It was also really great to see the staff, over the last year that job not only provided steady income during much uncertainty. I was also able to make some really good friends. So walking in today and being warmly greeted with hugs and friendly conversation set the tone for the rest of the day. I didn't realize how much I've missed them. I came home and made some fucking bomb ass blackened chicken, homemade corn tortillas, black beans, salsa and guacamole. I ate too much and it was worth it.
