I've lived in the UK 10+ years but am originally from Poland/Germany. In Polish culture, we enjoy Christmas day on the 24th Dec. Although, I've lived here so long that I've adopted many parts of the British culture too. So I guess I kinda get two Christmas days! Although I'm working like normal between Christmas and the New Year, I'm grateful for the people and things I have in my life. I never overlook my blessings and I use this time of year to try to unwind, eat some great food and relax with some home comforts, good TV and quality time.
