I’ve vaguely described being disabled but never quite specified what was actually going on.
I have Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (please research them!) I was properly diagnosed last year when I had surgery for 6 growths to be removed. It look them 9 years to give me a diagnosis, and within less than a year of having a confirmation ad to what my mystery ailment of years of unexplained extreme pain, i’ve run out of treatment options.
All this to say, One week from today on September 7th, i’ll be having surgery once again, but this time to cure the disorder. I’ll be having a hysterectomy.
I’ve been going through different levels of grief as anyone would in my situation, but I have the support of my doctors, my friends and my family.
I’ll be going on an extended leave from this site for about 3 months after the surgery as i’ll be unable to make content during my recovery.
