It took a lot of communication , a lot of patience and a lot of research and self discovery before we both felt confident to jump in head first . The final step before actually meeting someone and playing for the first time was posting pictures online . For a woman who is going to be doing this there is always a part of you that fears rejection, that fears not being good enough. No one wants to go to the school dance and no be picked after all. Posting pictures online anonymously allowed us to test the waters in a way that there was no pressure . We didn’t expect much . Drew was more confident that I was that people would respond and respond they did . From likes and comments to private messages I was shocked at how many people liked our relatively modest posts. I was just starting to hit the gym hard and didn’t think a 46 year old mom would get much attention. I was wrong. There’s no confidence boost quite like hundreds of strangers saying ‘you’re hot’ or requesting more pics or messaging you asking if you want to hook up lol. We weren’t quite there yet but those initial posts and the positive response definitely emboldened me to post more and not only was it quite flattering (and still is you awesome subscribers of mine) but it gave me that final shot of confidence where I was like, ‘sure I can probably do this … maybe lol’ Not the biggest fan of these pics to be honest . But it’s history and it’s where the story began. So here’s to Flashback Friday . Hope you enjoy .
