Added 2021-06-06 22:45:33 +0000 UTCHey! (Not sexy update sorry :c) I’ve been at the vet/in the process of switching vets for my kitten so I was at the vet all day yesterday and the day before. To make a long story short, the first vet essentially did “trial and error” medicine on my kitten for 28 days instead of actually running any tests because he believed the time it took to get results back would be too long given my kittens condition. I didn’t realize that the medications he was giving to my kitten were just masking his symptoms instead of treating him. I trusted the vet and his approach because I’ve never had to bring in an animal for more than a simple check up, but I realized his actions are malpractice as my kittens condition has just gotten so much worse. He wouldn’t even send the medications he used on my kitten over to my new vet like he’s obligated to, I had to show my vet my receipts. The new vet isn’t a scumbag, and I should have test results on Tuesday so we can make an appropriate recovery plan for him. I haven’t made time to take any photos or make any content (usually I try to prefilm, but I’ve had to keep an close eye 24/7 on my kitten because of his condition) but I will be posting multiple days in a row to make up for the missed days! I didn’t expect this to happen, life happens tho. Thankfully lil Toph should be on his way to recovery soon ^-^ Thank you for understanding, this has been absolutely the most stressful thing I’ve ever had to go through, but I’m hopeful he will be better soon. I already have a 4,500 word review (so far lmao) to post of the old vet detailing my experience and I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the veterinary board of my province, don’t worry. ❤️
