Painting with Faye Part 1: Let me take you along on the journey of creating some art! My painting process is not something I have shared with you before but it is something I get asked about a lot. Painting holds a very special place in my heart and I am excited to let you experience that with me. It is a new year and there is no better way to start it off than a new art project, in this series you will get to watch me create one of my paintings each step of the way. In this part I fine-tune my colour pallet, mixing and swatching until I am happy with the colours I will be working with. For me, a good colour pallet sets the tone and expectations I have for a painting, since I never really go in with much of a plan. Watch as I use my air compressor to spread around the first layer of paint. This is my all-time favourite way to move the paint around and cover a large amount of canvas in very little time.
