Added 2024-05-17 08:25:40 +0000 UTCI’m currently on vacation in Orlando and on Wednesday my husband found out his mom unexpectedly passed away 😭 We’re in the middle of our trip but we’re going to have to go back home earlier than we planned. Then we are going to have to go visit his family and help take care of funeral arrangements and such.
Some of you know I’ve been struggling with some things lately and this is just heartbreaking 😢 I saw a light at the end of the tunnel for the crap I’ve been dealing with and this has made my already overwhelmed self an emotional mess. We’re supposed to be having our yard fixed because the grading was done incorrectly almost causing my house to flood. I found out my IUD is improperly placed(it may go through my muscle 🤦♀️) so I have to get it removed and replaced in about a week. And now I’m dealing with the death of a family member ☹️
I’ve lost family members in the past, but this is the closest person I’ve lost 😞 My husband and I had talked to her on the phone the day before and now she is gone forever 😭
I am going to be focusing on supporting and being there for my husband the next few days. I’ll occasionally check in, but don’t take it personally if I’m slow to respond to messages/comments over the next week or so.
