I’ve been thinking about how many shoots I’ve done in 2022 as a whole and I think it’s been more than I’ve done ever. I have so many favorite photos of myself while working with a number of different friends and practicing self shooting. I’ve gained new cameras, I’ve learned to develop my own film, I’ve learned to make my own prints in my own darkroom. It’s been a lot of creative outlets and trying to new things and meeting new people - and being disappointed a whole lot - but overall I think considering this is just a silly little hobby of mine I’ve really grown as an artist. I know you don’t really get to see all of what goes into what I do, perhaps I will share more of the processes and my other art. I’ve been thinking about making a book of sorts of different shoots, I’d have to go through a lot and pick them out, and there’s still images that haven’t been shared yet, I think it would be a fun project and different way to share.
