Added 2023-02-26 08:09:05 +0000 UTCI've been raising 4 African species pups from day 1 the last 6 days. Feeding them every 2 hours. Everything from tube feeding, stimulating them to go to the bathroom, SQ fluids, and enemas. Exhausted is a understandment. They sometimes have taken me three hours in one sitting to care for. Newborns are so delicate and one wrong move I could kill them. I'm stressed and sleep deprived. But today I am going on my first actually vacation in years. So they have just left to go to one of my wildlife rehabber friends until I get back. Please give me some good inspiration to take hot photos while I'm away in the tropics, because I've had a extremely difficult week. To top it off my primary animal care employee happened to be on vacation 😫 So my sincere apologies for not ever having time to get to my DMs. Please understand how busy I am but I promise I will try.
