Having a low moment.. sigh.
Stress/hairline fracture in my left femur near the neck/head joint that connects my pelvic bone 🥲 Not a dangerous situation, but pain started during my May tour, and I'm NOW getting it looked at. What I thought was pulling/tightness in a muscle from working out/traveling, was actually me re-injuring myself over and over for the last 3 months. So my healing will be based on how long I can take off work. Normal healing time takes 6-8 weeks, but I have too much going on to stop. I'll gimp if I have to (anyone have a gimp leg fetish? 🤔)
For those waiting on custom photos/video, I'm aware. I'm also figuring out how to plan accordingly with the tours I have for the rest of this year to not create any further damage to my hip. I'm not canceling anything, the show must go on. I will likely take off for the holidays per as usual and that will be my healing time. Even so, I'll still take on work but with low impact to my hips. Workouts will be adjusted as well, because I've worked too hard to get to this point to stop working out. I'm looking into laser therapy with hopes a doctor can pinpoint the small area the fracture is located so I can reduce the duration of down time.
I'm frustrated because I'm at the peak of my career. I can't get mad at anyone for compromising my livelihood but myself. How do I tell my body to stop breaking down so I can continue to thrive? 😮💨
More updates soon. In the meantime, here's a picture of my butt 💜✨️
