It's a eurasian jay and it's probably not a nest baby anymore because it walks around but it's also not independent and I don't think it can fly. Perfect prey for the cats. It seems to like me so I'm gonna keep it for now and see how it goes. They're very important for oaks because they hide acorns everywhere and Portugal needs more oaks. It used to be an oak country but then they sold their soul to the devil and planted eucalyptus trees everywhere for paper and now eucalyptuses have colonized the entire country destroying ecosystems and using all the water participating in the desertification. So this baby is important. Hopefully Tito won't eat it, he's been wild with bats and birds lately which is quite bad for my garden and my mosquito bites.
