People said we were too immature/ it was just puppy love when we got together @elithefearless Here we are 9 & 1/2 years later still laughing together. It’s because we found love in each other & never forgot it. No matter what, our love is our priority. Some get so caught up in their checklists that they can’t see the value in the person in front of them. Or they let little things come between them. Or people forget to see love as a blessing & it becomes routine. As something expected, not shared. I think what keeps us together is that we’ve never forgotten who we fell in love with. During our worst times, our lowest lows, we remember the highest highs. We don’t lose awareness when we get upset with each other. We hurt each other sometimes, it happens in relationships, but we lovingggly hold each other accountable. We talk about it. Listen & hear each other. We forgive & let go. We’re still the kids we fell in love with. He’s my closest friend. We never lose sight of each other, so we can evolve, grow & change, together. When we did psychedelics it only strengthened our bond & validated our love (& all love) as something important, sacred.
