Added 2023-03-31 16:21:37 +0000 UTChey all, very sadly it happened again ! my main IG @sammysinsss has been deactivated for posting a pic of an acted intimate scene between Chella Man and me from his short film, and what’s frustrating is that the same pic is still on his IG while my whole account gets deactivated. I’m happy that the pic gets to live on IG, but the targeted censorship of me as a openly vocal sex worker and sex liberationist is what is really frustrating since this societal condemnation of controlling my narrative and representing bodily autonomy is what I was trying to combat in the first place with the post.
This is not the first time I have been deplatformed on IG, but I regret that I never asked friends to reshare a call to action to help me get my first IG “@sammykims” back bc I felt deep guilt and shame to take up space and felt that I as a sex worker wasn’t important enough to be rallied for. But after that deeply traumatizing experience the first time that led me into a depression that made me want to give up entirely, I took time to rebuild myself irl and eventually form a new account with @sammysinsss because I know the work I do is too important to not share and is worth fighting for.
If anyone that subscribed to me knows someone that works at Instagram/Facebook/Metaverse that can help me get my account back, I would deeply appreciate the help. I’m feeling sad, mad, and hurt by this targeted censorship. Thank you for your support and help during this fucked up oppression.
