If you follow me on my socials you’ve probably already seen this because I won’t shut the fuck up it about lol. Here’s a more personal moment, I’m excited to share it with you! @thecamdamage tied me the other day. It was amazing. I know this isn’t unique or really fascinating but I’ve always been incredibly tentative around rope, around full restraints of any kind, but especially rope. Not being able to move my body as I wish, not being able to get away… losing autonomy is frightening. And I was always confident that whoever I was being tied with wouldn’t make me feel the need to like fight back or run out of the room, but knowing I couldn’t even if I wanted to, couldn’t pick my wedgie, couldn’t assert boundaries by way of physicality, etc. That’s so scary to me. We didn’t do a full scene, it wasn’t super intense, there was no element of intentional pain, I didn’t go into any submissive headspace. We just sat on the ground, @michael.white had put on a movie, we were all hanging out, and Cam tied a TK (the upper body chest arm situation), and then a little more, we adjusted where the rope was on my shoulder, he tied a little more… He did wrist/finger/nerve/mobility checks on me and taught me how to do my own. He moved me around. He tied a little more. Eventually I was fully bound, all four limbs. It felt…good. My chest was warm and I felt..almost cradled? Bear with me on this metaphor: when you’re having a panic attack and someone slowly guides you out of that heightened state, asking grounding questions, applying pressure to body parts, giving you water, hugging you for full body pressure, guiding your breathing down to deeper slower breaths, it’s like that but you started at a baseline of neutrally unactivated so you get extra vibey chill groovy nice times (sorry that I didn’t finish that with the same gusto I started with lol) Anyway. I loved it. Being tied by someone I really trust to keep me safe, be aware of my body, be aware of my mental state, etc, someone I’m comfortable being that intimate with… it was really cool and I’m really excited to do more of it.
