I like to buy bananas in bulk and blend them up and freeze them To use for smoothies because frozen bananas give the best texture rather than fresh bananas, and eliminate the need for ice.
I also did it with strawberries this time and although successful, I think I will continue to buy the frozen fruit mixes, typically no additives.
