I bought my first car (pre owned but was passed inspection a few days prior) and it exploded a day afterwards within the first hour of driving it. Within a minute, the hood started catching fire, and the car was consumed. I was lucky people pulled over and witnessed it and tried to calm me down. I went to the dealership to ask for at the very least a refund on the car I had only just gotten. I got done over by the dealer, because “combustion” or “fire” wasn’t part of warranty. Following it up legally, would cost 5000 in fire forensics to even stand for a case given there was anything left that they could find plus legal fees I don’t have.Car was only in possession a day and only driven an hour so I didn’t have insurance that would’ve been viable. I lost my camera, my wallet, my ID, the cost I paid upfront for the car, almost lost my life. I’ve been incredibly struggling to emotionally handle it. I haven’t really felt comfortable to just ask for help or donations… I know a lot of people have it worse and I feel guilty to ask for support or even sympathy. But it would mean the WORLD to me if you feel you can and want to support and could join my paid OF. So I can make content and work hard to retrieve what I’ve lost. Only if you want and if you can. It’s been a lot to handle and I’m trying my best. I’ve been doing my best to get my life on track and I was really thrown back by all of this. I know it’ll be ok, I’m just going through it right now.
