Cumshot compilation update and a nerdy boring tech story from Addam: Hi Eve’s Campers! I haven’t forgotten about the cumshot compilation. Im sorry for the delay. I think it will be out before the end of this month. For those who are interested in a boring story, here’s why it’s late: -Warning, I go on long ADHD tangents when I’ve had an afternoon coffee - My decade old “trash can” Mac Pro, that I’ve been using for video editing, music production, housing a bunch of porn and clinging onto for dear life, recently passed on to the other side. It wasn’t a very peaceful death either. The SOB can fought a debilitating breathing condition for several months, then crashed and burned on its final day. On his way out, he even said “Fuck you Addam - you used the shit out of me.” Oh well, he served me well for a long time. If you’d like to attend Oscar’s funeral, arrangements are being made and I’ll send the invite shortly. So, that being said - until I get my new Mac, I’m editing exclusively on the IPad Pro. It only has 256 GB of storage space. For the tech nerds like me out there, you probably know an hour of HD edited footage takes up 12-20 GB of space, and the original unedited clips are double that length. And because Steve Job’s ghost is still fucking with us…IOS devices with 256GB of space all seem to crap out at 140GB. 😡 Because I don’t already have just the cumshots ready on their own, I’m needing to import our entire full video library to make that compilation. Our library so far is a lot more than 256GB. Luckily the ram and M1 chip on the iPad Pro can handle a 400GB video project, but not if the iPad can’t hold that much in the first place…Another issue is, I’m running out of space on the 2TB iCloud storage plan…and it’s a pain in the ass downloading one video at a time from iCloud, editing, then freeing up space, moving on to the next etc. So….dun dun DUN: I got a new Samsung T7 ssd which I’m using just for this kind of cumpilation and others in the future. I’m currently going through the arduous process of downloading everything from iCloud, and transferring via the built in files app to the SSd. Meanwhile, I’m dealing with a software bug…everytime time I transfer a video from the photos app to the ssd, for whatever damn reason, even once the SSD is unplugged, it duplicates the video file’s size and keeps it local stored in Apple’s “File” app cache, essentially doubling the used-space the iPad thinks it has. It doesn’t refresh either overnight while charging. The only workaround I’ve found so far that works… is deleting the files app after a couple of transfers, then reinstalling the files app. Anyway, I’m 3/4ths of the way done. As soon as I’m done editing the white onesie series, I’ll move straight to finishing the cum comp, edit the foot video, then July’s MFM. If you read this whole thing…you deserve a badge of honor. If you read this whole thing hoping to find something interesting or worth your while, I deeply apologize. 🤪 If any of you have a better fix solution for stopping the files app from storing SSD transfers in its cache, I will bless you with so many thanks and lots of high fives.
