okay so strange development with my Taiwanese neighbour.
she messaged me and asked me if I had a package for her. I did have a package, but the label had another name than the one she told me the first time we met, albeit it was also a Chinese name and tbh I never looked at her packages when I gave them to her before, so I thought it could be just her legal/chinese name.
So I took a picture of it and sent it to her, and she confirmed it was hers. But then, a few days later, another person came by and said it was hers. I asked her if her name was the one on the label, and she said yes. So I told her someone else claimed it as theirs.
After some thought, I realised that the recipient put their phone number with their address and so I compared it to my Taiwanese neighbours phone number and they didn't match up 💀
I messaged my Taiwanese neighbour and asked if there was a possibility that there was a mix up, and she just replied by asking me to show the picture of the package to the other neighbour. So she didn't really confirm or deny anything 🙃
So I texted screenshots of the Taiwanese neighbour and mine's conversation to the number on the recipient's label, and tried to explain what happened and to talk to the Taiwanese neighbour to figure it out. It's been a few days and she hasn't replied. I don't know what else I should doooo 🥲
Since I am always home, the postman always rings my doorbell to leave packages for my neighbour's even if he doesn't have any for meee. I'm starting to feel like this is too much responsibility for me lol
