Reality, however, brewed its own challenges. The paperwork seemed endless—licenses, permits, health inspections. Each process was more overwhelming than the last. The costs quickly added up, and I found myself negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and sometimes, the clock itself, just to keep everything on schedule.
The first trial run was a lesson in chaos. The espresso machine decided to take a break, despite having never asked for one during our practice sessions. The music system refused to sync, and the first batch of pastries fell flat—literally. But with each hiccup, I found creativity and resilience I didn’t know I had. I learned to laugh in the face of mishaps, offering free coffee to patient friends who had come to support me.
