Added 2023-04-12 01:29:01 +0000 UTC🖤Bluddy Dysmorphia🥀 As a nonbinary person, I sometimes struggle with the parts of my body that tie me to my “womanhood.” I’ve been trying to reclaim my body as just human, a human that, by luck of the draw, was given this afab body. Recently with the validation of my partner and as I grow more confident in knowing myself, I feel more connected to my body. Now I see my period as a power I was gifted. I do not understand why so many people have disgust for the cycle that holds our species by a thread. It is the only blud born without violence. From the same place we shed, we also carry souls from the void into existence. There is a reason the “mother” earth and “mother” nature come holding that title. Again while not everyone who has a uterus identifies with those titles, birthing people are a sign that afab bodies, by our free will and ours alone, were chosen to be conduits of nature and our own gods on this earth.
