I prefer the excitement of early risers and the certainty an early hard one brings of a great performance. So, the Chantenay Red variety is perfect for me. It grows to a gorgeous long length, is nice and fat, round ended with superb flavour. I am wet in anticipation of their delights.
3 months (at least!) until I can enjoy their deliciousness. What is a girl to do?
