I wrote this in 2021, my single era; dreaming of, drooling over & manifesting the ways my lover man would touch, love and turn me on with. I never witnessed others sharing the love I wished to receive for myself growing up, I didn't really have any role models to work off except some romance books and movies ha!... but I had a deep knowing that there was SO much more the world had to offer me & hence each line I wrote came with its own subtle intensity & passion. Tbh, it was an almost crazed feeling, but in the BEST way. Of likeeeee FUCK IT... im here, in my living room, I'm sick of crying, im sick of accepting the bare minimums from the male interests in my life, I'm gonna start delving into & exploring the corners of my mind and existence of what I dreammmm a man and a love could look, feel, smell like to me. Just starting with the basics and working up from there, but reallyyyyyyy embodying it as if it WAS my reality (even tho at the time I'd had no previous relations that were even close to these dreams or demonstrated that this reality could even be within reach). I had nothing to lose & everything to gain. If nothing ever changed, welllll these times I spent dreaming felt fantastic & SO alive, so I didn't waste any time there & if they DID manifest into something more... well I couldn't really comprehend HOW that would actually feel, but fuck I imagined it would be indescribable.
and boy oh boy, it is.
