The combination of tall ceilings and low furniture can make any room look heavy and dull which is why it is important to balance visual weight not only around the room but also from floor to ceiling! Balancing the visual weight in a room can greatly enhance the architecture you are working with. I hung this delicate geometric light from the ceiling to balance out the visual weight. Notice how the thin black cord runs parallel with the white painted pipes, creating a satisfying linear look.
