With my crazy symptoms and wild lab work my rheumatologist wanted to make sure I wasn’t fighting a virus, infection or cancer before starting a new immune suppressants, and as soon as she said cancer I’ve been stressed for weeks preparing for the worst but I got the best news. No cancerous cells in my labs and I’m cleared to start my new medication! My hematologist also thinks all my crazy symptoms (extreme fatigue, excessive pain, etc.) is all due to my untreated ankylosing spondylitis so the sooner I get on a treatment the sooner I should start to feel better because I’m telling you, it’s really bad right now. I don’t even feel like a normal human being, I’m in so much pain day to day, and can’t get myself out of bed no matter how much I sleep. It’s affected all parts of my life negatively in a severe way and I’m so ready to start feeling just normal. At least like be able to get myself out of bed before noon. My poor and amazing friends have had to come stay with me when I have anything scheduled in the am to get me out of bed 🫠
