Added 2024-06-17 04:55:53 +0000 UTCWell, we did it. We finally wrapped up all of our loose ends in Las Vegas and packed the van and hit the road. The prep for this trip seem to take forever. There was so much we had to do. But we are finally all prepared to live out of our van. And we have the Rabbit with us as well! This is going to change the game for us because now we don’t have to pack up the van every single day. The lady layer can stay cozy and set up to be lived in while the rabbit can be used for exploring and running errands. This might not sound like a big deal but it sure is. Because every time you have to drive the van you’ve got to completely rearrange it for driving And when it’s set up for camping, it’s completely rearranged an entirely different way.
We drove about an hour and a half east from Vegas through the Lake Mead national Park to a small town called Overton. There’s a small wildlife management area here that has seven camping spots and we are allowed to stay up to seven days. This will give us a chance to chill out, relax and get a game plan together for a future travels.
