If not for the artificial lights of fun, if not for the fuss created by the thirst for life, and the frenzied pursuit of the profits of entertainment merchants, if not for the luxurious showcases that merchants arrange both inside and outside their stores, if not for the bright multicolored advertisements that abound in our streets, if not for the crowds scurrying in all directions pedestrians, — we would quickly feel how hard the icy hand of winter falls on our hearts and how oppressive are those long days when the sun does not give us enough warmth and light. We do not realize to what extent we are dependent on all these phenomena. In essence, we are the same insects brought to life by heat and dying from it.❄️🫧
