Every morning when I wake up I cheerfully greet my sweet Amala and wish him a happy day and tell myself it's gonna be a day filled with miracles. Once I step out of bed and the shit hits the fan, I believe that my good attitude, positive outlook, and faith that everything's gonna be just fine, helps ease the aggravation I experience when I deal with life. ALL MY OBSTACLES END IN VICTORY!! I HATE PHONE CALLS and emails dealing with jerkoffs. And I hate having to waste my precious time dealing with BS. So far today, my very favorite, very expensive, custom-made bowl fell off the sink, filled with Amala's daily serving of spinach, breaking beyond repair. So very grateful that he didn't get into the glass shards and that I didn't step on them. I was able to successfully vacuum up the mess. VICTORY!! Then I got an email from my shitass landlord arguing with me about the latest issue… How many issues do I have to fight with this dickless jerk? :( Our rent has changed because the citizens of our city voted in November about abolishing the huge rent increase that went into effect on 9/1/22. Our law-breaking landlord received all the information on how much to charge effective 2/1/23, and they need to put notices on everyone's door with that information. In fact, it was due on January 1. But my landlord is a piece of shit and wants to ignore all of this. They put a note on our door a few days ago saying our new rent would be the amount that we were paying before the exorbitant increase went into effect in September. THAT IS INCORRECT!! Because I'm not about to be ripped off by my landlord again, which they tried to do last year, and because I don't trust these guys as far as I can throw them, when this new lowered rent amount was announced last month, I immediately went to the authorities at the City and asked them what my new rent amount was supposed to be and reached out to the landlord and told them they needed to give me a notice with the new rent amount. I had to spend a lot of my time today straightening them out, and in fact I accomplished that, after threatening me they were gonna have their lawyer get involved, blah blah blah. VICTORY!!! Lastly, I got an obvious scam text which was supposedly from one of my financial institutions, saying "your email address has been successfully updated. If you didn't authorize such an update click on this link." OY. I do my best to stay informed and be aware about scams and how horrible criminals reach out to us so that they can steal our identity, etc. So I did not click on the link but I reached out to my financial institution and asked them to confirm that my email had not been changed and that my account was safe. They confirmed an unauthorized party tried to access my account, but my account remained safe. I spent about another 10 minutes on the phone with the representative chatting afterwards because we had so much in common and we had so many complaints about the City and our county and how dangerous it is and she was a soul sister because she too fights the good fight against all the crime that is rampant here because our elected officials are shitasses! So that was really great!!! VICTORY + NEW FRIEND!!! I hope that you take action for all of your obstacles and transform them into victories! #happygirl xo
