When I was heavily promoting my Senegence business I was always on my socials and was shocked when I realized people faked how they looked becuz they used photoshop, etc. I prefer authenticity. In ALL ways. People who fake their looks online - - - which I absolutely detest, find it despicable and think that people who follow them should stop following them for that very reason - - - aren't worth a second of my time. Why would I want anything that they're promoting when they're fake? I need to trust someone before I'm going to buy their product. The reason I had a successful online biz was because I was 100% myself. The weirdest experience I ever had regarding fake people online was with a fellow SeneSister. We connected online and became online friends, and when I went to the next international SeneGence event, a strange woman came up to me - as so many did, who I was usually able to RECOGNIZE - - and she said, "Hey girl, it's so great to see you and to finally me*et you in person!!!!!" I didn't know who the fuck this woman was. You guessed it, it was this one particular chick who totally doctored all of her content so that she looked completely different. I could NOT place her until she told me her name. My brain eventually stopped melting from being so confused. It's horrible that society makes us think we have to look a certain way, which feeds into our own insecurities, and takes us very far from self-love. I boycott fake people - online and in real life. #boycottfakeness xo
