The reason I chose this tune for this graphic is because of the lyrics at the top of the song… My doctor was definitely "killing me softly" for about eight hours today, from the time I read my test results online, to the time she called and left me a voicemail. Everything in the report from the CT scan AND what she wrote to me in response to the scan said "carcinoma in the left breast." BUT THERE'S ZERO CANCER IN MY BREAST OR CHEST thank goodness!!! I wasn't able to ask her why the report said that, and why she reiterated CARCINOMA, because she only left a voicemail. Regardless of the reason, this made me think I had breast cancer for the second time in 15 years. I wasn't freaked out, but did cry a few times during those eight hours, and played it all out in my mind up to and including my death. I do this every time I have a health scare, which actually calms me down. Bottom line, I'm very relieved to report that I do not have cancer in my chest area, anyway. I see a pulmonologist in a week because I do have some major things going on with my lungs per the X-ray I had + this CT scan, but my pulmonologist will reveal all next week. I am beyond beyond beyond grateful!! And as always, I'm chanting my ass off! #thankyouuniverse xo
