The trial was tricky, because the second part of the trial was to determine if he was insane at the time he committed the ra*pe. He was found guilty in part one of the trial, but claimed he was innocent by reason of insanity. He was found to have been 100% sane. I had an amazingly intelligent jury and the best deputy district attorneys possible. And I killed it on the witness stand. I was honest, unafraid, a total bitch boss, and bared my soul with the intention of him going to prison for the rest of his life. On April 8, when I delivered my victim impact statement, everyone was in tears except for the rapi*st and the muscular bailiffs who made sure the disgusting rap*ist couldn't attack me when he heard what I had to say about him and how he fucked up my life. Bottom line: My determination to have him in prison for life was realized. He received FOUR life sentences, and is eligible for parole in 100 years. Not bad, considering the death penalty wasn't an option. However, I still worry because we have a horrible district attorney for the county of LA, who is a monster in his own right. He doesn't believe in prisons or keeping rapists and murderers in prison. So I'm always on the alert that he'll throw some shit in the works as he's done to so many families who've lost babies, children, sisters, brothers, husbands and wives to horrible, disgusting beasts who do not deserve to breathe the same air we do. This DDA, George Gascon, has got to go. We tried to recall him a few months ago, submitting 200,000 more recall petitions than were necessary, and once counted, were told we didn't have enough signatures. Something's wrong with this picture. I cannot wait to win the lottery and move out of this dreadful county. #happyyetwary xo
