RE4 is just a classic. They introduced so many never seen mechanics, and they refined previos ones. They did the camera so well, the color scheme makes you feel like you're in that world, not just lolking at a screen. Protecting a defenseless Ashley is horrifyingly difficult at times. The wide variety of enemies keeps you on edge.
Dead Space took everything that RE4 was and enhanced it. Deep Space. Alien Zombies. Nothing like leaving a room full of the dead by sewerside, just to returun to am empty room and crawling/roaring in the vents. Running out of ammo is heart stopping, and the sound design is so on point!
