Opus, Y2K and Death of a Unicorn - All absolute shit. Legitimately hard to watch. The A24 horror comedy bubble has burst in the most magnificent way!
Last Breath - A really tight, entertaining 90-minute thriller! I don't want to spoil it but the (real life) story shown in this is just unbelievable.
Novocaine - Cute, fun, camp.
Will & Harper - Touching if a little out of touch.
Mickey 17 - Never been a Bong Joon Ho girly so this was nowhere near as disappointing for me as it was for others. It was just fine, but I've found all his movies just fine.
Black Bag - Yes yes yes yes yes! More Soderbergh, more dark-haired Cate Blanchett, more tight, funny thrillers. More more more! Please!
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy - Bit rude to take a classic, light-hearted comedy franchise and turn it into a deep, melancholic drama about grief. I mean there was still a lot of levity and I'm being a bit dramatic calling it 'melancholic', but damn. It was good though! Just not the escapism I needed/wanted.
