When we bought it, it didn’t have any rubber stoppers and it was uncomfortable (and slippy) against the teeth when it was open wide. I slipped on some rubber end caps and now it’s comfortable for the patient and allows the dentist to open it as wide as is needed without it slipping.
I’m excited to see it used on some new patients.
