Back to farm chores! Milking the cows always entails bringing my ladies in milk an extra treat. This incentivizes them to stop grazing in the mornings and come over to get milked. It also helps keep up their supply as high producing milk breeds. My main milk cow is making about five gallons a day right now. ๐

Iโve spent the last month coordinating tons of excavating work getting the pad for it set up, and building a yard around it on this ocean cliff. ๐ Thereโs still lots of work ahead, and I canโt wait to give you guys a tour! Once the water catchment and solar are setup and I move in the next couple weeks Iโll be giving a tour on OFTV. I also have some insaneee gardens going that I want to show you. ๐ฑ Thank you for being here on this journey with me!

My cow, Ginger is one of the dearest cows to my heart. โฅ๏ธ Sheโs about six years old now, and I got her when she was six months old. She was much spunkier back then, and her curiosity towards breaking out and exploring was much greater. Here sheโs taking her mid-afternoon nap and is quite content. But I remember the days of running barefoot through lychee orchards she broke into.. trying to trick her and corral her back while she evades my moves and bucks around like a crazy rodeo horse. Meanwhile my neighbors are calling me telling me thereโs cows in their road, and thereโs more breaking out because she downed the fence. ๐๐ Sheโs mostly retired from her tom-foolery now.
